ETNA — Ron and Susan Pomeroy of Etna are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Jennifer Pomeroy of Etna to James MacPheters of Plymouth. James is the son of Dennis and Judith MacPheters of Plymouth.
Jennifer is a 2003 graduate of Nokomis Regional High School in Newport, and a 2004 graduate of Southern Maine Community College in Portland, where she received a degree in surgical technology. She works at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. James is a 1996 graduate of Nokomis Regional High School in Newport. He is employed at B & C Gravel in Plymouth, as well as a self-employed in the forestry industry.
The couple is planning an Aug. 25, 2012, wedding at All Souls Congregational Church in Bangor with the Rev. Dr. James Haddix officiating. The reception will be held at Penobscot Valley Country Club in Orono.
