LAMOINE — Bill and Tammy Dickey of Lamoine are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter Kristien Dickey of Broken Arrow, Okla., to Andrew Davidson of Jamestown, R.I. Andrew is the son of David and Karen of Jamestown, R.I.
Kristien is a 2006 graduate of Mount Desert Island High School in Mount Desert and a 2011 graduate of Maine Maritime Academy in Castine with a degree in international business and logistics. She is a buyer for Georgia-Pacific in Muskogee, Okla. Andrew is a 2006 graduate of North Kingstown High School in North Kingstown, R.I., and a 2010 graduate of Maine Maritime Academy in Castine with a degree in marine engineering. He is employed as a Merchant Marine engineer for U.S. Shipping Corp. aboard the M/V Houston.
The couple is planning an Aug. 31, 2013, wedding on Mount Desert Island.
