VEAZIE and ORRINGTON — Kevin and Melinda Carr of Veazie and Scott and Melissa Adams of Orrington are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Amy Adams to Steve Amico.  He is the son of Ann and Steve Amico of Westborough, Mass.

Amy is a 2006 graduate of John Bapst Memorial High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Maine with a degree in environmental management and policy. She also earned a graduate certificate in community planning from the Muskie School of Public Service at the University of Southern Maine. She is a life safety aide for the University Environmental Health and Safety Office at the University of Southern Maine. Steve is a 2004 graduate of Westborough High School and a 2008 graduate of the Maine Business School at the University of Maine with a degree in business administration–management. He is employed as a field service account consultant for Blue Cross/Blue Shield in South Portland.

The couple is planning a June 30, 2012, wedding at the Harraseeket Inn in Freeport.
