BANGOR — Mr. and Mrs. Alan Dunham of Bangor proudly announce the engagement of their daughter Nicole Marie Dunham to David John Wheeler, son of John and Delys Wheeler of Yanchep, Perth, Australia.

Ms. Dunham is a retired United States Army medic who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2006 to 2007. She is currently employed as a print production manager in Sydney. David currently serves in the Australian navy and is a veteran of 14 years. David was recently honored as the Seaman of the Year, receiving the prestigious  “Kellick Award” from the Australian Federation Guard.

A September 2012 wedding is planned.
