WINTERPORT — Janet and Joel Froding celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with children: daughters, Jill and fiance, Micheal Hallett, and Joy and Amie, and son, Joel “JP”; and grandsons, Dustin and wife, Katie Hill, and Noah Hill.

Married on June 23, 1962, the couple lived in South Portland for five years, then made Winterport their home in 1967. They credit a good sense of humor and the support of many friends and family for the blessing of 50 years together.
